Dear Diary,
As an African American woman it is very difficult to find jobs and live in today's society.  Bur God has answered my prayers and President Johnson has established the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  This act makes it illegal for one to be prejudiced against any race or sex in the work force.  I am supporting my three beautiful children and this act has made it so we can eat on a regular basis.  If I keep saving hopefully Jimmy will be able to tryout for the football team at school.  It is hard to keep living like these but I couldn't imagine my life any other way.  Thank you God for blessing me with three beautiful children.
